‘An Egg within an Egg’ is a gesture interactive 2D 8-bit style game.
The context and content of the game is about the player interacting and talking to unknown gender people.
Through mimicking specific gestures, the player gradually changes their physical body state and perhaps be able to
experience a new multi-gender perspective of interpretation,
and eventually recovering the player's memories. The changing part will not be happened but in fact is a way of self-realization.
Talking about the aim of my design project, if I may quote Coleridge that: A great mind must be androgynous.
the aim of this game I am trying to confirm is the idea that intersexuality is the ideal balance between femininity and masculinity in many of the social issues
that we are currently facing. And I also refer to the concept of microcosms, some religions and the relationship between them.
The use experience and interaction of the game references the Sympathetic magic referred to in the book the Golden Bough( James George Frazer, 1890),
and the main aim is to use its principles to explore how we been changed as we engage with the virtual world through the screen.

<<<<Gesture Interaction Narrative Game*
Themes: Androgynous + Self Reproduction   Elements: Surrealism, Occultism, Cult, Cyberpunk
The topic I want to talk about Self-identity, identity, gender diversity, humans and nature and technology and witchcraft

how they are combined together

What I am thinking is about using the game mechanism to combines the principles of homoeopathic and contagious magic, for example, if I use the leap motion to control the charactor to move, jump and interact with others, it is more like I' m doing the magic staff to the character; it is the same for the player.

law 2:

Both assume that things act on each other at a distance through a secret sympathy, the impulse being transmitted from one to the other by means of what we may conceive as a kind of invisible ether, not unlike that which is postulated by modern science for a precisely similar purpose, namely, to explain how things can physically affect each other through a space which appears to be empty.

The game is still in development, so keep an eye out for it.
